Students will learn how to decorate a cake using FONDANT, basic techniques on how to work the fondant, how to apply it to a cake, how to make figures using different fondant tools. Students will also learn how to make a fondant bow.

SKILL LEVEL: NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
MINIMUM AGE ALLOWED: 9 YEARS OLD OR MORE
OBJECTIVES: Students will learn how to decorate a cake using FONDANT, basic techniques on how to work the fondant, how to apply it to a cake, how to make figures using different fondant tools. Students will also learn how to make a fondant bow.

INGREDIENTS INCLUDED: Red and Pink Fondant
MATERIALS NEEDED: You can find all the materials at Bakers Bodega Escondido

Two 8” cakes with filling and a crumb coated (you will learn how to fill and crumb coat in Buttercream class)

2lb white Fondant

Fondant Mat

Heart plungers

Brush

Ribbon Cutter (optional but recommended)

Multipurpose Cutter

Rolling Pin for Fondant

Corn Starch

WIPES

APRON

Reschedules and Cancelations: BakersBodega Escondido reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes that have not met the minimum number of participants that were established. It also reserves the right to substitute instructors when necessary. Students will be notified via telephone, text message or email. Only cancelled classes will be refunded but not rescheduled ones.

Refunds: Student cancellations must be received 3 business days in advance of the class/course start date to receive a full refund. Refunds will be made only in store credit.

Disruptive Students: Disruptive students/kids will be asked to leave. There are no refunds for disruptive students

Waivers: BakersBodega Escondido is not held liable for any loss, injury or damage to students or their property, due to any act or omission by BakersBodega Escondido, its interns or its contracted vendors. BakersBodega Escondido recipes can include different fruits, vegetables, nuts, spices, wheat flours, etc. If you have any food allergy please talk to us prior registration.

BakersBodega Escondido reserves the right to refuse service at any time.
